This index reflects the combined performance of a group of assets, incorporating the effect of compound growth. The index aggregates the returns of its underlying components (which may include stocks, bonds or other financial instruments), aggregating returns and accrued profits of underlying components with a structure that compounds gains over time, enabling exponential growth under favorable market conditions.
