What Are Stablecoins?

A stablecoin is a special type of cryptocurrency whose value is linked to a fiat currency or commodity. Unlike other cryptos, stablecoins have low volatility, thus combining the best of both worlds.

USDT (Tether) has its value pegged to USD at a 1:1 ratio. 1 USDT = 1 USD.

USDT is issued on multiple blockchain networks, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.
