There are many kinds of trading scams. Some of them are designed especially for Olymptrade customers. Below are some examples.
Fake Olymptrade Representatives
A person contacts you online stating that he or she is an Olymptrade employee. Normally, such scammers ask users to provide their documents/personal data or share their account login and password. Fake representatives may say they need it to verify your account. Also, they may promise to credit your account with a big bonus or help you make money using the platform's vulnerability.
Fake Olymptrade Websites
Scammers create fake websites imitating Olymptrade’s official resources. On these websites, they offer you to enter your login and password or fund your account to get a huge bonus. By doing so, you lose access to your real account and your money.
Fake Olymptrade Apps
Fake apps work the same way as the fake websites. They may resemble the original but often come with unrealistic promises such as trading bots with guaranteed profits, win-win strategies and signals, and so on. Some of these apps can make their way to the Google and Apple stores.
Phishing or Popups
An attacker sends you an email or a message designed to look like a legitimate request from Olymptrade. The message contains a link you must follow to confirm your password or get a big bonus. This malicious link leads to a fake Olymptrade website where you enter your account data or make a deposit.
