Fundamental Analysis of Stocks

Analysis of the stock market includes, first and foremost, analysis of a company’s financial activities. This depends on what the company does. Analysts understand what happens to a company when it publishes its reports.

The reports reflect all the information on the company's income and expenses, provides information on the current state of affairs, and also forecasts the company’s future.

These company reporting periods may differ. For example, reports are published quarterly in the US.

A key indicator that all analysts look at is earnings per share (EPS). A company's net profit is divided by the number of its shares. If EPS grows, it positively affects the price of stock. But if EPS falls, the impact is negative.
