Residence

You can prove your residence in India using one of the documents listed below. Please note that the document you provide needs to have been issued within the past three months and contain your name (except for the last two points).

• ID card (if you didn't use it as your identity document)

• Bank statements

• Insurance statements

• Tax declaration or tax returns

• Student or work visa in another country

• Government-issued certificate of residence

• Bills for utilities, council tax, internet, cable TV, landline, or mobile phone

• If you rent your place: a lease agreement with your and the landlord's names, and a utility bill connected to the landlord's name

• If you live with family and your relatives receive bills: a utility bill with your family member's name, and a document proving your relationship
