Oscillators

DeMarker Indicator

The DeMarker Indicator is composed of a single line curve with a time period of 14. This value can be adjusted.

With a shorter period, there will be more signals, but many of them will turn out to be false. With a longer period, there will be fewer signals, but they will be more accurate.

The oscillator line can move between 0 and 1. In doing so, it periodically crosses the overbought level set at 0.7 and the oversold level set at 0.3. These are key levels, since their intersection with the DeMarker line gives signals to enter the market.

It is advisable for beginners to use standard oscillator settings, namely a period of 14, an overbought level of 0.7, and an oversold level of 0.3. They are considered the optimum values in terms of signal quality.
